Christchurch Christian Lawyers Breakfast

Our vision is to offer Christian lawyers in Christchurch a regular opportunity to connect, share and support each other as we work out how our faith connects with our working life.

We hold a monthly breakfast on the second Tuesday at 7am – 8am at The Villas on Montreal Street (www.thevillas.co.nz).  One month we will be doing a short study and then the following month having a guest speaker.  Also, each time one person will share a 5 minute reflection.  So the next few months timetable is:

• Tuesday 12 September – Study and discussion on “Balance” – what is it, how do we get it, is that even possible and what does the Bible say about all this?

• Tuesday 12 October – Speaker: Theologian Alistair Mackenzie who has written several books on the topic of “Faith and Work” and spoke at recent Christian lawyer conference in AKL.
• Tuesday 14 November – Study and discussion on “Identity” – how do we define ourselves – are we “Christian Lawyers” or “Lawyers who are Christians” or does it even matter?
